Ed and Tori met at a Yoga studio shortly after Ed had moved to Barcelona in early 2018.  They noticed each other right away, and struck up a conversation after class.  Ed walked Tori home that night, and this became their routine.  Their first date was a picnic at the Bunkers of Carmel hill, watching the sun set over the city.

 

After eight months of exploring Barcelona together, Ed accepted a career opportunity in the United States and convinced Tori to join him.  For the past five years they’ve lived in Hoboken, New Jersey, and have enjoyed visiting each other's families in the United Kingdom and Mexico.  (The weekly yoga class still takes place too!) 

 

On December 30, 2023, Ed proposed to Tori while they were in Quebec City for the holidays.  At a beautiful lookout point over the St. Lawrence River with freshly laid snow on the ground, it took Ed a minute to convince Tori to stop throwing snowballs, as he had an important question to ask!
